Kebunhaus was founded by Fazdilah Mat Kassim, a Segamat native with a deep love for nature and meaningful spaces. In 2022, as life slowly returned to normal after the COVID-19 period, Fazdilah found inspiration during a quiet moment spent with her husband. She noticed how many people, after months of restrictions, longed for a peaceful environment away from crowded places and closer to nature.

With that thought in mind, she decided to share the calm and greenery of her family-owned land with others. The journey began with the creation of a small glamping site, offering visitors a chance to relax and reconnect with nature. As the space grew, the idea of a café soon followed, giving birth to what is now known as Kebunhaus Café.

Inspired by classic and antique elements, the café was designed to feel warm, cozy, and timeless. To make the experience even more special, Kebunhaus introduced rare and adorable chicken species that are uncommon in Malaysia, including the Poland species and the American Silkie. These gentle, charming animals have since become one of Kebunhaus’ unique attractions, delighting visitors of all ages.

Today, Kebunhaus is more than just a café—it is a peaceful escape where nature, comfort, and simple joys come together.
